This hardy evergreen is tolerant to droughts and can survive in poor soils. A mass of tall stems of sky blue flowers form alongside clumps of succulent leaves.

Agapanthus provide the perfect solution to mass planting on exposed, dry banks and narrow garden areas adjacent to driveways. They are also extremely hardy to coastal conditions, can be considered fireproof, and their tall summer flower stems make a gorgeous cut flower.
