Chaenomeles Early Orange 2.5L

Easy to grow, tough and hardy deciduous shrub with an arching network of bare branches (usually with thorns). Low spreading form ideal for hedges or ground covers.

In Winter these are covered with clusters of buds which open to bright little orange blossoms. They cover the plant both before and after the green foliage emerges in late winter and early spring. Fragrant yellow small fruit ripens in the winter and maybe cooked in preserves or jellies.
