Hellebores are shade lovers, at home in a woodland or under-planting of larger trees and shrubs. Grow in full to part shade, well drained soil and remove old flower heads and damaged leaves to tidy after flowering. Feed with slow release fertilizer late autumn and spring for best performance. Quick to establish, very easy care. Evergreen.
