Produces a large volume of ruby pink flowers on relatively upright stems, which show the flowers off, and also make this Hellebore good for cutting and bringing blooms indoors in the winter. Bracts after flowering is finished are a deep burgundy, making an attractive display even after flowering has finished. Foliage also is delightful with strong marbling on striking leathery leaves. Prefers part to full shade, ensuring well drained soil but making sure plants do not dry out. Evergreen.
