Hardy perennial growing into a bushy, upright mound of green foliage, with showy clusters of fuchsia-like flowers beginning sometimes as early as spring and continuing into autumn. This plant whilst very attractive is an enthusiastic grower and spreads by suckering so remove the suckers to prevent it spreading or put it in an area where it can be left to run free. Prefers full sun to part shade.
