Spectacular shrub that is the national flower of South Africa. Bushy spreading shrub with large rounded glabrous mid-green leaves. Huge wide open flowers mostly silvery pink in spring and summer. Likes a sunny position with well drained soil. Does best when it does not dry out too much in summer. Generally will regrow if cut back. Fantastic cut flower. Will tolerate moderate frosts.
