Elderberry

Highly ornamental, deciduous shrub. It carries large and lush, dark purple leaves which are adorned with fragrant, pink-purple flower heads in summer which result in black-purple berries. As autumn progresses the leaves develop yellow tones before falling. A lovely specimen and is well suited to mixed plantings, cottage, and modern gardens, or using as a backdrop for smaller plants with the added benefit of Elderberries.
