Vigorous shrub. Leaves are dark blackish purple turning rich red in Autumn. Fragrant flowers are pink with a white centre, and followed by black fruit. Sun and part shade. Both flowers and the fruit are used to make delicious cordials. Plants need some moisture to get established but are drought hardy once older. Sun or part shade. Hardy & deciduous.
