A handsome small tree with showy blossom, producing small round nuts which are highly nutritious, rich in oil and have many health benefits. Also useful as a hedge or screen.

Hazlenut’s thrive in most soils but prefer a slightly acid, fine textured, clay-loam soil that is deep, moist & free-draining, whihc does not dry out in summer. Prefers cool climates. Cross pollinate with another variety to produce a good nut crop.
