English Walnut or Common Walnut

Slow-growing tree with a wide-spreading, rounded crown, making it an excellent choice for planting in paddocks. It begins producing easy-to-crack walnuts in the autumn, usually about 15 years after planting. In late spring to early summer it has yellow-green catkins that provide pollen for bees.

Self-fertile but planting it alongside another variety will increase yield.
