This NZ native groundcover forms a small, spreading clump of attractive purple fern-like, ornamental foliage. Unlike other Acaena, the inconspicuous brown seedheads don’t bear barbs or spines. Best in a sunny well-drained position. It has a good tight habit and is tolerant of a wide range of soil types. Evergreen. Hardy.
