Easily grown and a beautiful Autumn cut flower.

Prefers a sunny, well drained drier position with light well drained soil of average fertility with not too much nitrogen.. Under the eaves of a house is ideal.

Plant with the shoulder of the bulbs showing above the ground. Established clumps can be left undisturbed for years. A dressing of bulb fertilizer, once a year after flowering, will encourage vigorous bulb growth.
