Fagus Dawyck Purple PB28

A tall, columnar cultivar that retains its narrow form. Its deep purple-red spring leaves have a shiny sheen and it maintains its purple leaves throughout the summer. During the autumn season, the leaves turn purple, then brown through the winter and fall off prior to the emergence of new leaves. An excellent choice for use in limited space and is ideal as a street tree. Deciduous.
