Beetroot Rainbow Mix 6pack

Beetroot is an excellent root vegetable crop that stores for months. It is best grown quickly and responds well to fertiliser. They require well drained, friable soil in a sunny position. ‘Rainbow’ is a novelty mix with sweet, different coloured roots. Harvest these when they are no larger than tennis balls.

• After Harvest: Beets may be ovenroasted, boiled or eaten fresh in salads.

• Position: Full sun.

• Planting: 12-15cm apart.

• Maturity: 8-10 weeks.
